Senior Associate / House Scholar

A graduate of Tokyo's prestigious International School of the Sacred Heart, Mia completed her undergraduate studies in fine arts (SCL) at Arcadia University, Glenside. Beyond the demands of life as a Montessori intern-practitioner and her studies as House Scholar at the Princeton Center for Teacher Education, Mia brings her experience as a ceramicist, media artist and designer to our cohort every day, and broadens the scope of our Cultural Anthropology program with her thorough and experiential understanding of Japanese language and customs. Look for her handiwork among the illustrations on the Equip pages of our website, or near the potter’s wheel whenever it appears on the back deck. Whatever the media, Mia’s artistry brings each of us a little closer to our own unique muse.
